Abstract

Analysis of the patient questioning results shows that in majority of patients with COPD levels of depressive tendencies is increased in all age groups up to 56 points. Men over 85 years old had a real depression. who needed a specially organized psychological or medical care to overcome depression and subdepressive trends. In patients with tuberculosis the depressive tendencies levels in all age groups ranged in diapason to 38 points, without any difference from healthy population, except women with tuberculosis who had a mild depression of situational or neurotic genesis, so the one third part of the patients of TB hospital also needs a psychological status correction.
